Six Sentence Sunday...Provoke Me style, Part Eleven *naughty*

It's Six Sentence Sunday time. Hope all those in the path of Hurricane Irene are staying safe!

In last week's scene, our flummoxed hero Spencer was spotted at Kink, a voyeurism club, by Kelly, his employee. Gotta love hitting that...breaking point. ;)

Kelly jerked her hips against Spencer's palm, desperate for more. The friction of his brusque touch both soothed the ache and intensified it. As wet as she was, she barely needed any stimulation at all and he’d already given her a damn overload.

Her heart pounded frantically and she opened her mouth on a soft cry. He ground his hand, circling, dragging it up and down until her cries became one long, endless moan. She tensed and stilled in his hold, the storm inside her reaching the breaking point.

It's Six Sentence Sunday time!

In last week's scene, our dashing hero Spencer was spotted at Kink by Kelly, his employee. Wild and woolly things happen next. ;)

Then Kelly grabbed Spencer's hand and pulled it down, pressing it against her belly. Giving herself that extra second before she took things to a place they couldn’t step back from.

His fingers flexed in her hold. Go for it, she admonished herself. But before she could, he went for it for her. He slid his hand between her legs, rubbing hard.

Welcome paranormal romance author Dee Tenorio!

I'm super excited to have the most awesome Dee Tenorio back on my blog today. She's a repeat offender...I mean, and she always brings the fun with her. I'm a total fangirl when it comes to her writing and as for her web design skillz, look around! All the work of the multi-talented Mz. Tenorio. She's been burning up Carina's most popular lists with her Resurrection series, and I'm not the least bit surprised. I can't wait to read both books!

Here's Dee...and be sure to show her some love!

More Than A Growl...

I've been asked recently—several times since the release of "Deceiving The Protector" actually—why I chose to write paranormal romance. And, as you can guess, there are some stock answers that most authors give.

"I love the danger of a shifter." Or, "Animal Magnetism is a powerful draw to tie into." Or even, "Dude, shifters are HAWT!!"

But in my few spare bits of time, I do occasionally ask myself the same question. Why do I like writing paranormals so much?

Well, without question, it has to be the fantasy of the shifters. I always wanted to be able to do something extraordinary, like turn into an animal or control the wind or have magic at my fingertips. Most of the time, I have to suffice myself with finding a little magic in the keys of my computer—though I will admit that when the magic happens, boy does it shine!

But I also think it's because I love the idea of forever commitments. Paranormals tend to have relationships that are for the rest of their lives. In fact, my own shifters bond to the point that if one dies, the other dies with them—bonded body and soul. (What can I say, I like to make things REALLY final, lol)

But at the core of it, I just keep thinking that I write paranormals because it's the ultimate escape. You can be light or dark, suspenseful or comedic. Mysterious or over the top. There's no promise of reality and that means you can—as a writer or a reader—completely let go and buy into the story with no fetters to reality. And nothing is more fun than being totally free. :)

That's me, anyway. How about all of you? Are you fans of paranormal? Have you ever considered your attraction to the genre? What brings you back, time and time again?

Six Sentence Sunday...Provoke Me style, Part Nine *naughty*

It's Six Sentence Sunday time!

In last week's scene, our dashing hero Spencer was spotted at Kink by Kelly, his employee. Hmm, wonder what she does while Spencer's guard is down? ;)

Kelly's lungs squeezed and she stared at the wall, sure she’d wake up in her bed any time now. Alone, with her hand between her legs as she’d awakened so many times before. Spencer always visited her in her dreams, taunting her with what she’d never have.

Except he was right here. And she’d be damned if she just let him walk away. She bucked against him, and for an instant he dropped his guard and the arm he’d used to cage her in.

Six Sentence Sunday...Provoke Me style, Part Eight *naughty*

It's Six Sentence Sunday time! Don't read further if you're not above age 18...naughty words ahead!

In last week's scene, our prickly hero Spencer was spotted at Kink by Kelly, his employee. I would say stuff ensues but we're just getting redundant now. So it's heavily implied. ;)

A hard cock pressed against her backside. Kelly went still.

“Don’t think you got what you came for,” Spencer said softly, his voice barely a hot whisper against her ear. “Or do you just like to watch too?”

She’d thought she couldn’t breathe a second ago? Cripes, she’d been positively overoxygenated compared to this.
