Yay, it's Six Sentence Sunday time!

In last week's scene, our prickly hero Spencer was spotted at Kink by Kelly, his employee. Even more stuff ensues (yes, Graylin, that was for you!) ;)

Kelly fought her way through the crowd, somehow managing to make it to the shadowy end of the hallway. The Emergency Exit loomed ahead. Safety. But before she reached it, someone drove her up against the wall. Her breath rushed out in a big whoosh as she realized a muscled male body had her pinned. 

And not just with his hands.

Bad Kitty...new contract! And cover!

I'm thrilled to say that I recently sold my Halloween erotic contemporary short story to The Wild Rose Press. Bad Kitty will release this fall and the cover is below. Isn't it gorgeous? I'm completely in love. Super huge thanks to my amazing editor and cover designer, Diana Carlisle.

As for the story itself, the hero, Patrick, is a twin. Nope, no twin action of THAT sort, but if anyone wants me to write about his brother Easton after they've read Bad Kitty, I'll be happy to. Just let me know!

Glass exploded on the polished floor, the sound ricocheting like gunfire. Only the people closest to her noticed. Or at least that was what Kelly thought until her gaze connected with Spencer’s. He’d drawn back to stare at her as if he were seeing a ghost. Shock etched features that a moment ago had been taut with lust and those heavy-lidded, dark eyes burned into hers across the room.

Hey there, Spencer. Remember me?

At first Kelly couldn’t make out their faces through the thick steam but it didn’t matter. She recognized the large hand on the small of the woman’s naked back, just below her fall of auburn curls. The thick but somehow elegant fingers, the wide palm, the expensive gold watch.

She swallowed hard. Flight-or-fight instincts kicked in, strongly leaning toward flight, but she couldn’t stop staring.

God, he was beautiful.

At the sudden prickle of heat behind her eyes, Kelly glanced away from Alana and stared across the parking lot, the perfect angle to see the red sedan. Dammit, it even had a dent in the same place on the fender as Spencer's.

Holy fuck, her boss was here. Looking for sex, the kind best suited to XXX-movies.

She leaned against the trunk to keep from collapsing on the sizzling blacktop. “Oh man.”
