I've only read a couple but I enjoyed them as much as any other type of romance. One was about a hockey player. It wasn't filled with a lot of sports references so I was ok with that!

I don't particularly read a book just because it has sports in it. I am a firm believer in if the story is good it doesn't matter what the subject matter is. However, I am partial to football.

I like some not all. Hockey, baseball, basketball and skiing seem to work best for romance. As long as they have a HEA, I'm good.

Not much into sports romance or other wise. I did enjoy Shelly Laurenston, her pride stories had icehockey as the sport the shifters played as well as roller derby. I liked how the different ways of playing these sports affected some of the individuals and their personalities.
How different or same they behaved in some cases.
