MISTRESS'S MASTER, book 3 in the Men in Blue series by the fantabulously awesome Jayne Rylon! I'm a big fan of her work and think she's just the bees' knees...though I admit, I have no clue where that saying originated or what exactly it means! But I can tell you this, she's a wonderful writer and a sweetheart to boot!
Check out MISTRESS'S MASTER's blurb and buy link, then come back and read Jayne's great answers to my questions. Because Jayne is the best, she offered an ebook copy of the 1st book in the series to one random commenter (and though it's not required for the contest, feel free to sign up to be a follower of the blog...I run contests pretty often around here!) If you have the 1st book, the 2nd one's up for grabs. So comment away!

Now here's Jayne...
1) What was your inspiration for the Men In Blue series?
Hmmm... I would start by saying hot cops! :) Plus on top of that I love romantic suspense. It has always been my favorite genre. So I wanted to really delve into some longer books and thought that would be a great place to do it. Some of my favorites in this style are Shayla Black, Lora Leigh and Suzanne Brockmann. YUMMY. Once I started writing, the group of guys just kept expanding until they all had to have a story.
2) How many more books do you foresee in the series? Any spoilers you can give us about what’s coming up next?
That's a good question. I had originally envisioned three books in the series. I did make sure that Mistress's Master has a satisfying conclusion though, I think it will be clear from reading, I do intend to write at least one to three more. Depending on if my readers are enthusiastic about this book and if editor likes the idea too of course! As the series progressed, Matt and Clint have sort of demanded their own story with naughty Nurse Jambrea. Plus there are a few more introductions in this book that make me wonder just what their story is about. As for spoilers I will say this book has a lot of drama I think. There's a wedding, at least one person dies and somebody winds up preggers. LOL
3) Tell us more about Mistress’s Master. Something yummy. Any sort of good authorly tease (and we know Jayne knows how to give good tease!)
Oh boy, what can I tell you.... I will say this is by far the dirtiest book I've ever written. Lily and JRad are both very experienced. Such a contrast from Izzy and Razor, who have a certain innocence. I had to do some very interesting research for this one. Let's just say I had a temporary subscription to a web site that made my husband say, "You don't expect me to try that do you?!" And if that's not enough, I'll say that Lily smashes Kate's (of Kate's Crew) menage record. Like... into smithereens. How's that?
Thank you for having me on the blog!
Now it's your turn...comment away! Have you read any of Jayne's books? Which one is your favorite? If you haven't read her books yet, why does this series appeal to you? Jayne's soaking up the rays in Hawaii right now, but I know she'll appreciate all the comment love!
