Romancing the Hop Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Romancing the Hop Blog Hop! Huge thanks as always to Carrie Ann Ryan for sponsoring it!

What is your favorite thing about Romance? Well, we authors are ready to share our romantic tips and favorite romance reads! Starting on Friday August 31st-Monday September 3rd, over 100 Authors and Bloggers will share their favorite things about romance, reading romance, and dating.

And while we do that, we are EACH doing a giveaway. Yep. There will be over 100 giveaways on each blog hosted by that Author or Blogger.

But that's not all....

We have THREE grand prizes. You as a reader can go to EACH blog and comment with your email address and be entered to win. Yep, you can enter over 100 times!

Now what are those prizes?

1st Grand Prize: A Kindle Fire or Nook Tablet
2nd Grand Prize: A $130 Amazon or B&N Gift Card
3rd Grand Prize: The following Swag Pack!

This hop could NOT come at a better time for me, because my release from last week, NO FLOWERS REQUIRED, is all about romance. Specifically...my heroine, Alexa, doesn't really think she needs any in her life. She believes she just wants  some stress-relieving smexy times while she fights to save her business, but she's oh so wrong...as she soon discovers when she meets the swoony hero (at least I hope you think he's swoony!) Alexa's a florist who loves purple roses (which signify love at first sight - an important factoid from the book) but isn't attuned to her own heart - at least until Dillon helps show her the error of her ways!

Here's NO FLOWERS REQUIRED's (Love Required #2) blurb:

Flower shop owner Alexa Conroy had it all before the recession hit and her customers fled to cheaper shopping grounds. Desperate to make ends meet, she sells her dream home and moves into the rundown apartments above her shop. When she spots six feet of sexy distraction—complete with muscles, piercings, and tattoos—ripping up flooring, Alexa knows the karmic windfall she’s due just landed on her doorstep.

And the attraction’s definitely not one-sided.

Dillon James, reluctant heir to the corporation about to foreclose on Alexa’s shop, is not about to jeopardize their scorching chemistry by admitting he’s not the building’s handyman. But with only weeks until her business goes under and his identity is revealed, Dillon must find a way to convince Alexa cooperation isn’t a dirty word, help her save the shop from his brother’s greed, and persuade her that he’s not the enemy…or risk losing the only woman who’s seen the real him.

Now...what prizes am I offering?

A $5.00 gift certificate and 1 of my ebooks to one winner!

All you have to do is:

1) Become a follower of the blog

2) Let me know if you'd like to receive my newsletter

3) Answer this question in the comments and leave your email address:

What is the most romantic thing someone has ever done for you?
OR what is the most loving thing you've ever done for yourself?

(Yeah, yeah, I'm an erotic romance author, LOL, but that can mean all sorts of things - like going for a massage, buying new shoes, etc!)

I follow your blog via RSS. I would love to receive your newsletter (kesummer69 at gmail dot com). The most romantic thing someone has done for me was (not very original, but) when my husband proposed to me. He's not usually into the romance, but he went all out. Nice dinner, flowers, and then a long walk along a boardwalk where he got down on one knee. Twenty years later we're still happily married.

I follow you via GFC (Lisa G). I would like to receive your newsletter. The most romantic thing anyone has done for me was when hubby & I were dating. We has been dating for a few months when my birthday came around. He came to my apartment while I was sleeping, tied balloons to my front door, & went back home. When I opened the door to leave for work, I found them. It totally made my day.

The sweetest thing my bf ever did for me was right after my dad died and i was a hot mess and i may have been drinking a lot and he let me cry and talk about my dad while he braided my hair...not so sure that counts as romantic but definitely sweet.

Thanks for participating! Really like the hop so far!! I love reading, especially romance. I love reading contemporary, historical and erotic romance. I love the happy ending that is garenteed at the end. My favorite book is Lover Mine by JR Ward! I love John Matthew and Xhex. My favorite romantic moment was when my fiancé asked me to marry him! We meant two years ago right around when summer was ending when my friend and I went out for our last big night out before classes started again. I think it is romantic when he brings me flowers because no one else has ever done it! Thanks so much! Hope everyone else is having a great long weekend!!

Not the most romantic, but def. the sweetest was when I was in the 3rd grade and was given a box of chocolate from a boy in my class for Valentine's day. Strange that something so simple stuck with me for so long.

...I wonder what he's doing now. :)

Thanks for the chance to win!

Most romantic was a series of things my husband did for me. He got me a pink ribbon necklace to lift my spirits during radiation. He came to almost all my radiation appointments to be there for me. He helped me with the treatments for the skin irritation from the radiation. And let me tell you some of the things I tried were pretty smelly. He sent me pink roses on the last day of my radiation. He's the best and I'm so lucky to have him.

My husband while on a cross country trip with his family (we were dating at that time) made them stop in several small towns so he could get me a coffee cup from each of them because he knew I collected different coffee cups. I still have those cups and we’ve been married over 20 years. <^_^>
