My journey of 1,000 steps to publication started sometime ago, but I'm not there yet. I'm a persistent bugger, though, so I'm determined to make writing my career. I love to lose myself in the stories of my favorite authors, so I'm looking forward to the day my books do the same for others.
That day's coming...I know it is.
Who am I? My name is Cari and I've been writing since I was a teenager (well, before that, really, but that's when I committed myself to the task) but I've only been serious about my craft for the last two years or so. I've learned a lot and I've made a couple writer friends - but I'd LOVE to make more.
Right now, I'm working on edits for my two Harlequin Blaze-targeted mss, but I'm also working on an erotic paranormal novella targeted to Red Sage and will begin writing a Scarlet Rosette soon that I'm targeting to The Wild Rose Press. (Older woman + Younger Man = Fun!)
I'm also an editor at a romance publisher, and a proofreader/graphic designer at a newspaper. So, yeah, I'm busy. But I can't wait to meet more people to share this crazy journey with!
